is it possible to extend my Australian tourist visa if an employer or friend will sponsor my permanent stay?
If I will go to Australia as a tourist for 2 weeks, is it possible to extend my vacation in the event someone there (AU nationals or a common friend) wants to sponsor me?
If so, what is the procedure?
When my visa expires, can I go to New Zealand and go back to Australia (let’s say after two weeks) instead of the Philippines?
What is the minimum amount I can show to Philippine immigration to prove my financial capacity as a tourist?
I don’t think it’s appropriate that you apply for a tourist visa if you’re intending to stay. Sounds like an extra waste of money where you’re “hoping” that someone will pay for you so you can stay.
It’s better for you if you apply for a work visa so at least you’re not trying to get to Australia under fraudlent reasons. You’re also not able to alter a tourist visa to a work visa. You would need to go back to your home country and apply from there.
