Bacolod and Illigan is very safe. Most people think Mindanao is, in general, an unsafe place to travel. True, there are some not safe places to go, but not that much. The area is safe though. I have friends from both cities, and they are all very nice people. If you can also try to visit Davao, It is the largest city in Mindanao, and also very nice and safe.

S EVERAL people have been killed in Pakistan bomb attack, Philippines Australia and mishaps, reports said.
