Enjoying the Waters of Boracay
Visiting Boracay only for its white sand is not exactly doing justice to this exotic place. True, the lovely world's beaches are the reason I noticed this tropical island.
Since its "discovery," Boracay is known for its beaches, transforming the area from Being an "unchartered" paradise on becoming the leading Philippine travel destinations and tourist spots.
Local and foreign tourists flock to the island to spend Some relaxing moments along the coast or beach house. But The truth is, there's more to Boracay than meets the eye, or to be more precise, we Boracay more than its white sand.
The Island of title = "Boracay> Boracay is the province of Aklan, Western Visayas region, some 315 km away from the capital city of Manila. Visitors can take a flight from any major city in the small town of Caticlan, which has its own continued airport welcomes tourists. From the airport, one can ride a tricycle to Caticlan Port. From there, an exciting boat ride will take visitors all the way to Boracay Port. After another tricycle ride (more or less than 10 minutes away from the port), the new arrivals are greeted by the charming Boracay White Beach.
Kick start your Boracay experience by participating in an island tour or visit the crystal cave. You can also spend an entire day island hopping, basking in the warmth of the sun while you visit each stunning beaches. Among the beaches are gorgeous Puka Beach and Manoc-Manoc Beach. Do not forget to bring with some snorkeling gear. You will not know when you spot a perfect site for snorkeling and even diving. The island is unpredictable like that.
For with experienced and licensed divers, Boracay diving safaris is an activity not to be missed. Normally lasting for a day or a whole week, diving safaris is full of excitement since you get to explore Boracay's breath-taking diving spots in the distant and dangerous areas. Novice divers will not feel left out though, as there are diving sites on the island not as difficult and dangerous. Dive sites such as Laurel Island 1 is perfect for beginners who want to experience swimming by an island hole and see all kinds of soft and hard coral. Speaking of coral, Friday Rock offers a close view of a massive coral gardens. Various sea as of starfish, moray eels, and sea cucumber is also an impressive sight to behold underwater. If you're just a beginner and want to safely enjoy this experience, helpful guides are available to help and take you to the ideal diving spot.
But if you want to stay over, and then try to hawk boat ride. For the uninitiated, the flying fish is an air cushion vehicle (hovercraft think). Originally designed for military use, enterprising individuals who have repurposed it for commercial satisfaction. You can also try riding a boat locally known as the boat. With water activities, you can get the best that your stay in Boracay. Beautiful white sand beaches may have defined the tropical island, but this tropical paradise has many other attractions of all sorts people will enjoy.
