best hotels in Boracay, Philippines when it? at or near the white sand beach?
I'd go to Boracay and want to stay in a really nice hotel on the beach in a spa! price does not really matter. I want to know the best hotels / resorts!
A new hotel just opened named Discovery the north end of White beach. It is very stylish and does not really fit the feel of the island, but it is in an excellent location. The north end is quiet compared to the middle White beach, Friday resort is located right next door, so you have two great options for food. However, if you are looking for a good places to stay, and the money is not a factor, I would suggest this. I rent from a company called SPR truth (sprboracay.com /). You can get a house right on the beach, for less than the Discovery and about the same price as some other high end resorts. You do not have to worry about finding a seat to lie out, you have your own section of beach to enjoy and full time security. Want a massage? Need a manicure? Thinking about a having a nice bottle of wine? No problem, just tell your girl, and any or all of the above will come to you. Also you can set up an account Friday's resort and just pay your tab when you leave. This is the best of both worlds, all the comforts of a resort at your own home. As for a spa, Mandala! Hands down, best spa on the island. It's not located on the beach or a beach view, this is why I suggest you to stay there. It was wonderful to visit but not the best location to stay if you want to be in the sand and sun. But no worries, let me know retainer and reservations are made. Get the princess package, starting at around 11:00, it gives you time to get up, eat and not have to rush. The package last 4-1/2 hrs, so it is perfect for this time finishing up, heading up the Mandala's restaurant, having a bottle of wine and a wonderful meal and doing anyway back to the beach for into the sunset with your new glow.
