Can employers distribute a 13th month pay below 1 / 12 of total income of an employer in a calendar year?
I work in a cooperative here in the Philippines and having a very minimal salary compared to other companies.but because I love my job I choose to stay. but the Big Bosses are intended to give us half of our should be the 13th month pay. that the only comfort I can get. Is this legal? please guide me ..
Us we call it a "Christmas bonus" ... you should consider yourself lucky ... U.S. few people get a christmas bonus. Paid holidays, paid vacation, free health insurance, and bunuses have pretty much disappeared in America.
