should i study school in the Philippines or USA?

So my parents are from the the Philippines and i was born in the u.s but my mom wants to the send me to the Philippines to this st.paul university to get a bachelors in nursing. I told her that it would be best if i studied in the u.s because this is the country i will be working in. I also dont think st.paul (a catholic school) would be the best school for me, im lds (not that im being closed minded to other religions) its just that i feel i would do better in an environment that's more religiously open and where they speak english better because i am not fluent in tagalog. This is the school she went to and i believe she wants me to go there also, and im really not sure about going because i dont know all the legal stuff that has to be done, like transferring my current college grades or whatnot. Does anyone know what needs to be done to transfer, or other good SAFE universities, or pros and cons of studying there. Im also almost a sophmore in college, studying here in the U.S

Well, I'm from the US, but moved here back in 2001. My Daughters are both going to college here in the Phillipines because it is SO much less expensive !!! A semester here is about $1,000 while back in the US it would be $5,000.

I had no problem transfering MY ancient credits from California University system to University of the Philippines, Mindanao for my Masters in Management.

I've met VERY few kids here in high school or college who don't speak pretty good English... and are QUICK and eager to learn from a native-speaker. AND they help ME with my Bisayan.

I'm not familiar with St Paul University, but here is their website; http://www.spusystem.edu.ph/

GOOD LUCK !!
