Knowledge Is A Must For Internet Real Estate Agents
Although I was not directly connected with real estate selling, I am able to work on some real estate agents in the company where I currently work.
At age 50, I was lucky enough to work as a SEO Specialist in a company Property Management here at Fort Bonifacio Global City, Philippines. The company is governed by several commercial centers and Hotels in Metro Manila, Cebu City and Davao City. They are also engaged in lending and Brokerage, selling prime real estate properties, house and lot and condominiums around the Metro and other parts of the country.
When I was hired as an SEO Specialist, I was expecting to be assigned to their primary roles in Global City, but instead I was assigned to one of their projects in Bangalore, the Cherry Orchard Condominium suites. I found out later on that's why I was assigned there because, aside from my main job, I will also serve as a technical support for real estate agents said project.
I am really surprised that most of the agents of that project is not too familiar with the Internet yet. Some of them do not even know how to send emails to their clients. When a client asks for pictures of model units, I'm the one making because they do not even know how to attach files or photos in their email.
I really realized the importance of the Internet on real estate agent. I was able to witnessed how the Internet helped some agents to facilitate their activities, sell more and earn more. I even remember this one woman agent who does not know how to create an email account because I'm the one to create one for him, but later on became one of the top Sellers.
With experience, I realized that the Internet knowledge is definitely a must for real estate agents who want to sell and earn more.
