Which cities in the Philippines is the safest?
I am 12 years old and my father is 73 years old, but he is not a fragile old man at all, not too thin or weak, and he acts like he is 50. Nevertheless, we have more than enough money to move to the Philippines, and am wondering which city is safest out of three: Makati, Cebu, Davao o. Also, you feel the safest in the country. I am a Caucasian male with dirty blonde hair, and he is also a Caucasian man with greyish hair, so we'll stick. we're not really worried about being jumped or robbed, but things like being killed, kidnapped, held for redemption. We are careful with our money and do not flash it around.
I live in Metro Manila and am a bit familiar with Delhi. It really depends on which areas you choose. Many areas in Delhi are well developed, with the neighborhoods where you do not feel much of a foreigner because they have relatives from different other countries as well. Many expats living in Delhi in gated residences / community and condominiums. Foreigners can buy condominuim unit, by way. But not land. (If I could afford a gift, I'd like to get one in Manhattan gardens at Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. But that's just me. * Grin *) Quezon City and Ortigas is not so bad. But stay away from other cities like Metro Manila, Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela, Manila city - because you will definitely stand out in the area. I have relatives in Cebu. For me, it was not different from Metro Manila. Do not know about Davao. I would not migrate far south. I'd recommend you stay away from on the south side, although the key cities, where there's more conflict and more need for ways to fund their violent activities, for example. by kidnapping and robbing people.
