i dropped nursing and planning bio as a pre-med..is it ok?
hi.. i am dan a 3rd yr nursing student from Cebu Normal University in the philippines, i just recently dropped my nursing subjects and planned on shifting to bs bio instead…is it a wise decision? pls help…
i forgot to mention…i failed my nursing subjects on purpose because i dont like nursing actually..it became too demanding on my part that i had no time for myself..
I hate to tell you, but I think you made a big mistake! Nursing school is demanding and time consuming no doubt, but worth it. Not to mention the job outlook for someone holding a nursing degree is much brighter than someone holding a bio degree.
On the other hand there is a reason it is hard to get the degree, that is to weed out those who trully don’t have a passion for it. So maybe nursing isnt your thing, and you do need to look to another field. But I would like to ask, If your doing BIO as PreMed, and you couldnt cut it in nursing school, don’t you think that Medical school wont be something you can handle as well? Just a thought.

Had a bad experience just recently…i questioned some protocol in school, and what I got in return? A delayed service as though the personnel who got offended because I made questions to clarify things got offended…Is it professional on their part to do so? I think not…But thanks to their immature actions, I realized the poor culture their department possess…Cheers to the Registrar Personnel of the school I will remain unnamed (not because I am afraid of any retaliation but because I still have some respect on that school)…may you change your narrow-minded ways,,,because it is such disgusting for a highly acclaimed school….good bless…
