see what you think of these lyrics so far. A foreign friend is writing about his new love. "She's my Filipino baby and I love him, yes I" "His father came from Texas and his old mother from Cebu, "" She's my Filipino baby "should she continue or do the lyrics suck (personally, I feel kinda corny, but what I know)
My first impulse was to dismiss it as pure and concentrated bullshit song (!). But people in love is known to turn instant poets - and give corny stuff like this. Suggest that he should complete the lyrics by adding at least three more stanzas of 4 lines each - and present it to its 50% 'Filipina baby'. If he is too in love with him, he can see it. And if he really cares for him, he quietly correct the flaws in its construction - and even sing it for him.
