What to cook on Christmas in Japan?

Hello, I came to Japan some months back and this is actually my very first Winter in my whole life. I live in the tropical archipelago of the Philippines.

Anyway, I just want to ask what I could cook for Christmas. Nothing super fancy or anything authentic Japanese, because I only have a small budget, one small pan, and lots of friends.

A friend suggested we cook spaghetti in the rice cooker while I prepare two sauces: white cheesy tuna sauce and a red meaty tomato sauce. Then we could probably buy those fried chicken fillets at the convenience store, and a cake or two.

I think this is a wonderful idea, if only we hadn't done it before... on my birthday. I really don't like repeat performances, because there's always the risk of comparison.

So umm... anyone help? No authentic Jap food nor expensive/complex dishes please. Just plain friendly and fun cooking!

Rice with ham and turkey.
