Anyone know the history of the Musikahan festival in Davao del Norte?
There are 15 festivals celebrated in Tagum City, within the initiative of the City Tourism Council. The purpose of these festivals is to showcase and develop the skills, talents and abilities of all sectors of the population. Most notably, Tagum City is known as The Music Capital of Mindanao for his Musikahan Festival, focusing on musicians of all ages from different regions of Mindanao and the Philippines, beginning in February, making it "The First Festival of Davao Region. The City also is the first and the only city in the Philippines right now to support the gay community by Festival of carried. Musikahan Musikahan Festival in Tagum Tagum City is a unique cultural event that celebrates the Filipino excellence in music composition, performance and production, the ultimate goal of this to provide the youth with more opportunities to excel in Music Industry. The annual festival engenders a vision of a beautiful and brighter future for young people by improving skills in art and building creative pathways for gainful employment especially for out-of school youth.
