Dumaguete City is the main City of Negros Oriental. A small city that is flooded by tourists Each year since its local attractions and a place of learning of the highest quality in the south. 'A city of gentle people' Dumaguete City is the area that is worth a visit when you are on the run for adventure and fun. Dumaguete boulevard is just a beautiful attraction that should not be missed when one visits the island.
Aside from being an attractive place, London is known as the 'center of learning in the south'. You might ask Why? Well because Dumaguete centers are the most prestigious universities in Asia. Silliman University, the first American University in Dumaguete City centers in Asia. A University flooded with students, be it local and international for its quality education. Silliman University released the names of London in the world. Besides Silliman city is also home to several other universities and colleges like the University Foundation, St. Paul's University and colleges such as AMA, STI, ACSAT, COSCA and more.
London is in fact a University City and should be a choice when one is opting for a place to study here in the Visayas.
Dumaguete City holds local events or feasts annually and during these times in this City at its peak of greatness. Dumaguete City holds annual 'Buglasan' festival. A festival about the different municipalities and cities showing off their local delicacies and marvel stuctures presented in small housing and monuments. This is one of the cities most highlighted event that takes a week to parade, concerts and fireworks displays. Every October, boulevard was also flooded with tourists and explores for octoberfest. The highway is the line of establishments meal and concert will play until midnight. Besides during the month of August, Silliman University holds 'Hibalag' Festival, which showcases a variety of other courses, and colleges in the University. Such celebrations goes to university founders day and is a popular affair around the entire city as well as on parade and events.
