BUSINESS PERFORMANCE OF FM RADIO STATION IN DAVAO CITY

Radio as a business enterprise is quite unique compared to other business enterprises and has been running since in the 1940's. Radio is one of the most profitable and powerful business industry worldwide. The study of the business performance of FM radio stations in Davao City is initiating in the hope of comparing and describing the FM stations' business performance in terms of, sales, earnings, and ratings and other determining factors such as promotions and advertisements to boost up the business. A comparative - descriptive methods were used to study using validated grand tour questions as research instruments in the forum data. Eight (8) FM station managers in commercial FM radio stations in Davao City was chosen as the rspondents and their responses were collated and analyzed. This study shows Business in assessing the performance of FM radio stations in Davao City, each of the stations are different in terms of sales, earnings, and user ratings as well as the strategic approach station's advertisements and promotions that can boost business performance. The researchers found that the advertisement is the main source of getting sales and income, and advertisements can be achieved by the ratings, low rate packages and bonuses, and other factors that contribute to boosting sales, earnings, ratings, advertisements, promotions and good business relationships, brand recall, programming and manpower. The researchers also provided suggestions and recommendations to the beneficiaries this study.
