Philippine motor plate starts with "U", when it registered?
I want to ask a question. I am planning to buy a car, The plates will begin with "U" and the seller tells me its a model (or was purchased) in 1997. He tells the truth? He says the manual as well as other records are lost. What are other ways to verify if indeed the car was purchased 1997? The car looks and performs well. I have no complaint about the mechanical aspects of the car. He presented me with a "new" motorcycle registration. But we in the Philippines and even the course record of government may do to show the numbers and data can not really accurate (a motorcycle person may be paid at the end). Guys, please help. Issue is the only thing stopping me from buying a car. I want to know if a 1997 or an earlier model, of course it would help me negotiate for a lower price.
maybe you can try checking the vehicle manufacturers. They will have different ways of determining age
