In the Philippines, the President can change its Legislature moved again the day of celebrating a holiday?
RA 9492 (as passed by the Legislature to curb the practice of Executive's revulsion day of celebrating a day of holidays) to another set of celebration Friday, November 30 holiday to the nearest Monday, which is December 3. Later, the President through Proclamation 1353 said no need to move the holiday because it falls a Friday, so the purpose of providing people continuous vacation to meet. (Incidentally, the expression also overlooked the fact that many businesses have work on a Saturday.)
The President should not change the dates of holidays because people are confused and employers are suffering from the changes work.
