Can anyone identify this spider?? http://www.flickr.com/photos/lunacruz/295341001/?
See this photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/lunacruz/295341001/ I found this spider in the Philippines to the walls in the bathroom or anywhere in the walls of the house. The biggest I've seen have a leg span of about 4-5 inches - so it is pretty great! It's really fast, too. My cousin and I tried to catch a big one, but Naka-zoom 'real fast behind a desk, so we get it. Please try to tell me what kind of spider it is, or if not, please list a good website all about spiders. Thank you!
Yes, this is a hunter, also commonly known as a tarantula or triantelopes or giant crab spider depending on where in the world is yours. They are harmless to humans and eat insects such as crows and mosquitoes that may harm people. Please do not kill them. They fear if you use a long handle broom to remove them somewhere out of harms way.
