Close or Not To Close Shop?

I was in customized sports clothing business for 24 years now are trying to build a company in the Philippines can evolve in such big companies like Adidas and Nike. With a very modest beginning, we were doing nearly a million dollars annually, but this past five years is to red. I thought of giving up because I can not seem to form a management team to move the company forward to the next level. My key staff, where I trained for many years, I realized that now seems incapable of meeting the call of challenge – the chance to come and have passed away. If not for these people care and many workers depend on the company, I would have closed five years ago. I loss the confidence to regroup and form The management team needed to continue our acquisition plan. I get many advises and I think that the demands from yahoo! Answers community what else can be done.

1. change (ie fire) the current staff not to meet the challenge. restructure companies. 2. change the goal. ie, customizing clothes -> manufacturing clothing for Nike etc. 3. changing marketing strategy. ie, more youth-orientation 4. manufacturing change or reengineer your approach to be better cost 5. hire external consultants to do all this (seriously) 6. sell off the business * is to find resistance to implementation. must to know why you lose money. This is because the supply is more than demand? or is running the company too expensive? not declare bankruptcy. This is an easy way out but the restriction will stop you at the end. God Bless! ;)
