What to expect from Customs / Immigration If ...?
My wife is immigrating to the U.S., the end of August from the Philippines. I've been trying To find information on what he may expect from immigration officials. Will there be any fees? (Outside of being taxed for the claimed goods) Because this is not a vacation to visit, out of her passport / visa / visa packet, what other documents should he have his? I pretty much I both of us to know what to expect from the moment he gets off the plane in the U.S. to meet him at the airport. Thanks
As he his visa was sponsored by you (yes he is!), he is the main permission to enter the country and why. All payments will be paid in advance etc.. there must be 'Extras' to pay. He would do well to have your mobile number to you, and you will to the airport, immigration should be contacted to the otherside. - Address where he will stay (required for immigration form still) - certificate, it can be useful. But your settlement visa is the main reason.
