Philippines will be better if Americans colonized us or better off if not colonized? Why?
Be better if Americans colonized the Philippines us or better off if not colonized? Why? Just wanted to ask, we're going to have a debate tomorrow, and I need good topics to argue
Which side are you on? If you're going to talk about past politics, war, patriotism and old relations of the Philippines it is very clearly, more than it is based on opinions. To answer the question "Is it better if Americans colonized the Philippines?" then you have to study the "Current" economic, social, and political condition of the existing U.S. territory. A little history. The Philippines, Guam, Hawaii and other other Pacific Islands in WWII helped the USA so the USA will support allies since then. But only in the Philippines wanted to become independent. The rest of us have been for other territories several days after the State changed the situation. With examples Guam. I lived in the Philippines for 30 years and now live in Guam for 6 years. The people here are indigenous people like many of our modernized "grassroots". They identify themselves as Guamanian or Chamarru. Their life here is no different from us, Their economy is no different, their government is too chaotic, except there are no broken officials here but nevertheless they are an advantage and that is a territory of USA. Guamanians earn the U.S. $, they posses passports with us, you travel in the state yet they alone represent the Olympic Games, Pageants, etc. besides the U.S.. I say in the Philippines may be better as a territory. If people do not know why you have to go to the States and slave to earn $.
