Shipping in the Philippines, UPS just too much! Any ideas?
I'm looking to ship packages to Misamis Oriental in Mindanao … silly big thing for my family. Previously I sent via UPS, but costs $ 200 per box! My sister-in-law uses a cargo express company in Los Angeles (Rainbow Cargo Express) to the same size box for $ 70, but I can not find them listed in the Bay Area. I need to find a company LOCAL (I San Carlos) that do similar tasks. Thank you for your help Thanks Diane H. .. I will check the USPS, but hope someone knows a better solution. Thanks Mike … but FedEx is even MORE expensive! To clarify: This is the sending of bulk items such as clothes, books, snacks, etc. Box is heavy (30-50 pounds), and TIME is not the issue, has VALUE! Thank you all! LeaCullen! It was almost perfect! My only problem is EAST-Coast based and it is for online purchase … but we are SO close!
It sounds like you are sending a "Balikbayan" box in the Philippines. If you're in San Carlos, I want to suggest either LBC or Forex Cargo. My mother sent the case back to the big family in the Philippines and he had good service. In Forex, they'll see though come to your home and your truck box. I'm not sure what the rate is, but it should be cheaper then UPS (the company specialize in big box the Philippines). Http: / / www.teamlbc.com/01prd.html http://www.forexworld. U.S. / box /
