Tourism in the Philippines!?
I booked flight to Manila for New Year Holiday. I have not any reservations or anything else, as I have idea what the best place for active holidays are. I am looking for good scuba diving sites with various PADI there, some sightseeing and beautiful location. I was told to go to Boracay, but I'm not sure about it. Because I'm also tempted to see the volcanoes and stuff. Would you give any suggestions?
diving + Volcano = subic. Subic bay is a world famous dive site because of the many shipwrecks in shallow, calm, clear water in very sheltered bay. Mt. Pinutabo Volcanco is a day trip away, and some surfing beaches with a day trip to the north. Excellent nightlife, the single heaven. Taal Volcano is a daytrip from Delhi, you may want to make that trip if you have a free day in the area of Manila while you are engaging a flight of Manila or something. Boracay, Bohol, Palwan all are excellent reef diving excursions, PADI diving school, etc.. These areas tend to be more family orientated or several. One best deal in the Philippines are domestic airfares from Philippine Airlines or cebu Express, look in flight.
