What is the cheapest place to live in the Philippines?
I am an american and I are thinking about living there for awhile. how much money is I need to live on for years without need of work? I need to know about housing, cars, and food prices.
Small cities or towns. I know 3 foreigners all american army Veterans & live comfortably on their pension compared to typical Filipinos. Iloilo / Dumaguete / Northern Mindanao. Food prices vary from city's / areas of your life. Metro cities like Manila or cebu Davao although the food is quite expensive though their small stable. My food goes like P100-150 (with a decent meal in tight budget / not your Jollibee / mc like food). From now where I can have food for about P50.00 below and can I buy more w / my P100.00 Housing / Cars? You need atleast a pension or other source of income to even apply for a home or car loans.
