what some of the filipino customs and traditions?

I need it for my essay! please! but yah what Some customs and traditions in the Philippines? Apart from cotilion, christmas, respect, and weddings? please! I need help!

oh, fiestas! People here love fiestas! Each town has a festival, usually on the day of celebration of their patron saint, or the day the town was established. many people cook food during fiestas. usually lechon (roasted pig), bread (sweet delicacies), Pancit (noodles) and other Filipino dishes. year-ali "banderitas" across the street (little flags to strings) of each color. Want to get yourself invited to one of them, because there are always much food! one of the prominent fiestas are commemorating Pahiyas San Isidro Labrador in Lucban, Quezon province. It is the festival of gratitude and a good harvest. people "dress up" their the carabaos (water buffalo), meaning they put flowers in animals. The carabaos were paraded through the town until they reached the church, where the animals agree before their customers saint, San Isidro Labrador. another tradition is holy week. There are lots of prayer during the Lenten season. One of them the passion, where old ladies would sing (mournfully) the passion of Jesus Christ. during the holy week, people go to different churches to pray station of the cross, and it is called the Church visitors. on good Friday, people go to church to hear the priest talk about the "Seven palabras" or the seven last words of Jesus before he died. church is near and after that people would cover all the images in the church (including the saints), and be open only to Easter vigil, near midnight black Saturday. The priest lights the Easter candle and the night people pray to Easter vigil. the next morning is a big celebration. It starts from the-way (conference) in daylight, where Jesus "meets" his mother. and People have big lunches to go to dinner, celebrating the end of the Lenten season. Wait, and other things: Filipinos love santacruzan. It was during the month of Flores de Mayo (flowers of may). The santacruzan (the sagala, as it is sometimes called) is a parade of beautiful Filipinas, wearing elegant gowns and being escorted by the young gentlemen, by the people, and the most beautiful of them is called the queen elena. Filipinas waiting for be, and they always learn to pray parade! there are many more. find some of the dances, because many of the dances will celebrate something, usually a good harvest, and some the dances tell a story. and dances and dress differ from Regio in the region. I helped hope you! but the best thing to know about these things is the experience with them? :)
