Use Currency American while in the Philippines?

When going to the Philippines, what American Denominations can I do to me? Seems not allowed to take or use or change of American Dollars for the Philippine peso with the ink marks / tears in dollar bills. Is there a cutoff as to what year American Money I bring with me to the Philippines?

If you must bring money to you, bring a crisp, clean, not folded 100 dollar bills with no markings on them. Although the pen to mark Cashiers used to validate them in the register will cause the Filipinos do not want them. These are very picky about it. They want the new version only issue. Sometimes they receive a bill slightly worn but a lower rate of change than advertised. The best the exchange I ever got was from the ATM machine when I withdraw cash. It dispenses pesos, usually in the 500 peso note. ATM's are available everywhere. For maximum withdrawal using an ATM physical connected to a bank such as BPI, or PNB, Metro Bank, etc. If you use an ATM in a mall, airport, or other stand-alone machines is usually limited to 4000 or 5000 pesos at a time. You'll see many "per use" payment method. Also, you you notify your card issuer that your going abroad. They usually reject foreign transactions unless you tell them ahead of time. As far as I know everyone is now for your own protection. Just call them before you leave and not have any problem. Also, DO NOT USE The Ever Ever Street Vendor changer MONEY ITS NOT WHAT RATE his promise. They are all slight-of-hand magicians and they do this shit every day all day long. You can not catch these. Just do not go there.
