philippines economy 2010

philippines economy 2010
Will the Philippines become a developed nation by 2020? Will the phoenix rise again?

I think that is possible. Philippines could even surpass India again. GDP growth rate of the Philippines as of now is 7.5% and expected to be as 10% in 2010 while Thailand has only 4.4%. That is if the Philippines can sustain its growth rate for 15-20 years to come. Booming economy of the Philippines' is also evident in its urban areas. As of now, The Philippines is one of the "Four New Tigers of Asia" with Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia and is listed in "Next eleven Countries" or the country with promising economic outlooks. As a "Newly industrialized Nation", is Halfway Philippines being a fully developed nation. The Philippine Government should also strong enough to make citizens follow the law. This is not true that the Filipinos have no discipline for other countries, they are very well disciplined. Me too believe how much of corruption is one of the hindrances to lose one. Surely, with growth rate, I can say that the Philippines can return to its 1970 status when it is still the 2nd richest country in Asia. I also believe that the Philippines may even surpass Thailand in just 10 years. Thailand's economy today is due to refusal of the Military Junta. This is a huge crisis in Thailand. Philippines booming economy 'also proves that the Filipinos currently doing great. I was surprised when I saw that the Philippines is an Asian Tiger and a New Nation industrialized. But to be more effective if the Filipinos are more disciplined and less corrupt Philippine government. The Filipino people should be united by one and for all. Philippines' statistics is very ironic because It is noted that this is a rapidly booming economy but fell to the index of corruption. Peso was dubbed as the best Asian money but prices are hiking. New jobs are developed but still the unemployment rate is 7.5%
