So how effective the pork barrels against the last storm in the Philippines?
Would not it nice to get input from our dear politicians? I am sure their share of funds went in ensuring the stability of their homes. And to ensure some amphibious cars bought for themselves ... the case a real bad flood.
Believe it or not the promised 8 billion pesos from the Iloilo typhoon Frank last year still has not been released! We still have wash of the bridge and damaged the road. Plus the remans flood contol project stalled because of the squatters who live in the area of construction. Homeowners we got zero relief from the government and had to rebuild out of our own pocket. Can you Banana Repulic?
