Are there any Japanese grocery store / restaurant in the Philippines that sells "konpeito" or "taiyaki"?
I Japanese stores food in Waltermart, and various Japanese restaurants – but any way I can not get ahold of konpeito (rock candy – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konpeito) or taiyaki (fish-shaped waffles with red bean filling – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiyaki). Has anyone you seen these things sold in the Philippines? Thanks in advance ^ _ ^
If you are looking for japanese candy, you can try aiji Ichiban. I think I've seen some stores like that in the Philippines. else, try some of the international food aisles in large markets. SM irritating once held an international festival of sweets evil, but I do not know when they or if it is a regular thing.
