16 year old doing a food drive in the Philippines?
My family and I are going to Philippines this Christmas to hand food to the hungry abandoned children in the provinces. Other than being able to pack more food and stock as possible, what can I do to get more out of my trip in time? My aunt that occurs to me told me to join the "Kids Against hunger" but I'm not really sure how to join them. If anyone has done a mission trip or something similar in other countries, I would really love some advice. Thank you!
Yeah, I agree with post above - but would like to personally recommend giving / volunteering in the GMA Kapuso Foundation coz you really know where your donations go coz they personally allows you to have when they distribute them (ie, canned used for victims of calamities, gifts for children for Christmas) I there once and it is really fun. It's really touching to see their smiles once they receive their gift - priceless.
