Should some individuals are allowed to become rich by cutting the forests on earth?
Most of Asia is one time plentiful in the forest of rain today is reality, all because of bad leaders and their mates in the country became very rich by selling their trees to equal rich and powerful evil westerners keep profitting from good quality timer from Asia. There is nothing left to cut in places like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines, so now the west and japan are doing all they can lure Bhutan which preserved their forests to clean state to sell their trees. But Bhutan has refused to give ecological terrorists. This world belongs to everyone and what rights a few powerful people to get even richer by exploiting nature?
I guess it depends on whether they own the land. You can prevent them from doing what they want, building or development, land themselves. So the problem comes from the sale of it to them, not regulating what they do with it once it themselves.
