A 13 Immigration Policy for the Philippines?
I am a U.S. Citizen, currently in America. My wife is in the Philippines. I want to know, if anyone knows the answer to this, If the file or can I petition my wife visa here in America, or if I wait until I returned to the Philippines do it? We are looking to process while I was there in December, and now we have started the K-3 visa process for my wife. However, it is a very long process, and instead applying for an extended stay visa when I go visit him, I really get my temporary Visa. Can I decide to live there for awhile, that's why I ask the question. So, Can I do that here in America? Thanks for the information.
Yes, you can file it here the U.S. and in fact you need a U.S. address as proof of your domicile. You can live in the Philippines while the K3 petition is in the process provided that you may to get updates on any communication / correspondence sent to your address to us by USCIS.There's also the concern of proving that you are financially able to petition a spouse which may require a stable and continuous source of income or employment. Good luck.
