What the Philippines is called if the Spanish did not invade it?
I am studying in the Philippines in class, and I was just wondering about the name. What would it be called if the Spanish did not invade? It would be named by China, or Japan? Was there another name? Is it just some the cluster of islands with others? Was the map? I wondering if it is called something different. And I'm not looking for what YOU want to call it. 'm Just wondering if other names before the Spanish. No commitment please … Thankyou! Sorry I said 'interface' for that what they used to my book.
Several thousand islands of Philppines not been identified as a country is not Spain colonized the island. Instead of each island will have a separate, local, indigenous names, and local rulers tribral, many Gulf region and still today their non-native spanish name. In 1800 the Philippines has likely to become part of French Indochina (Vietnam), because the French were active in expanding their empire and colonies in this region at this time. Maybe they called that: The Island of Indochina? If Spain did not colonize the Republic of the Philippines, after the USA has not taken them as a result of short spanish american war. Thus, Japan's invsion the Philippines in WW2 does not lead to participation in WW2 USA or prompt the attack on Pearl Harbor, like the USA will have no interest in South East Asia Pacific, cause Japan to do pre-emptive protest fast USA navy at Pearl Harbor. Thus, the Philippines will likely be called the Republic of Indochina Thailand (a doll government under the control of Japan, simlar to the name 'Republic of the Philippines' provided by Japan after work). We can conclude that the Philippines have remaind a colony under the terms of a greater Japanese Empire, including most of Asia and the Pacific Islands, not the USA are involved in WW2 in the Pacific (almost all for the Philippines). PS: It is more accurate to state that Spain 'colonized' in the Philippines, rather than suggest Spain 'invaded' the Philippines, 'interface' suggests a military conquest with organized opposition. During the colonization, the Philippines consists of thousands of small tribes fuedal and villages, mostly in war with each other, which made it easy for Spain to expand this empire by absorbing friendly tribes and citizens in suppress others. Is native support is often given too willingly. Japan can say 'invaded' the Philippines, because it made military work with broad and unified armed resistance by almost all the filipino people.
