Buying Designer in the Philippines?

One of my uncles mentioned that when I travel to the Philippines this July, if I buy designer brands like Gucci, I only allowed to bring one of each item abroad. Like one of each, hand bags, jackets, shoes, watches, etc. Does anyone have more information about it? Furthermore it is the only real or knock-offs too? This is something expressed in the removal of the country or is it if they decide to search your baggage?

A legitimate Gucci outlet in the Philippines, the Greenbelt right next to the Ayala Museum. I wonder why it seems you want to buy it. It is not a cheaper, probably somewhat more expensive in reality because of our high taxation rate. If your uncles intended to Guccis in Greenhills and other outlets selling fake Pradas, Vittons Louis, etc., then I would strongly advise you to disregard them. You can get arrested and jailed when cutoms and airport staff find vendors you of thes fake designer labels. There have been several reported cases of travelers at the airport held for thes reasons. It does not even matter if you only carry a small item of a fake brand. You can help stop piracy.
