U.S. citizen but grew up in the Philippines - Japan visa question?
I'm interested in teaching in Japan and I was wondering about the regulations visa. I am an American citizen but I grew up in the Philippines. If I am a U.S. citizen, have a good degree and some experience, Is this still a problem to get visa and a TEFL job if I grew up and was taught in the Philippines?
no. I have an uncle also teachers now in japan. he got all his education from elementary to college in his masterals the Philippines. something the country does not matter as long as you qualify for the job you are applying.
