study ', Ng government, education and Business Advisor Tony Buzan mind is sharper than Sweeney Todd's razor. You are not likely to see him suffering from what the motor racing driver (or anyone else looking for a reason inexplicable lapse of concentration or memory) archly referred as' brain disappear. Excuses and 'senior moment' is definitely not his thing …

'Guru of Gray Matter'

Tony is author or co-author of more than 90 books in the brain, to study and business principles (published in 150 countries, in 33 languages). The inventor of Mind ® maps, he devoted most of his working life promoting Mental Literacy – teaching how to know people and how to use their talents effectively.His diary is packed with meetings, interviews and the lectures, yet he somehow finds time to write new books, develop new products Mind Map (downloadable software iMindMap is the latest addition to the range) – and host the annual World Memory Championships, where he originated and co-founded.Although He lives and works in a quiet part of Yorkshire, England, Tony journey for at least eight months of the year, and at last count has visited 73 countries over her working life. And many of the 73 countries, its mission includes imparting his mind of skilled men and women with jobs is the government, to shape legislation in their country and to guide their people development. The results of his endeavors are truly impressive.The center of Tony's work in both government and business is to help increasetheir creativity, change skills, and abilities leadership at all levels, to facilitate communication and to streamline the process. He also gets involved in the management of specific projects, advises campaigns election, and helps his subjects pose in their negotiating skills. Educating the educators

Tony recently returned from six weeks lecturing and interview tour of Asia and the Far East. In HCMC, Vietnam, he was invited to brief the Vice Minister of Education in its mode of creative thinking and learning. Because he has asked Tony to consider providing input for the training manual which must be distributed to all teachers in Vietnam – numbering several millions – thereby training their own and then teaching children for whom they are responsible.

Mexican Brain Wave

Tony has become a long relations with governments of Mexico, stretching back to the turn of the century and the election of President Vicente Fox of the pan (National Action Party). The highlight of his career so far is Mexico in 2003 – the 5th annual United Nations Conference on Quality and innovation in Mexico City Stadium – Tony if where is the basis for speaking of the event. In addition, each of the 28 other speeches were delivered simultaneously Mind mapped by a total audience 10,000 people, led by the team Buzan Center of Latin America, the hair up by Jorge Castaneda – around 280,000 of Mind Maps created over time the meeting!

One outcome of Fox's Buzan-inspired approach is developing a manual operation, mainly based on Tony's Mind mapping and methods for learning, for all senior parliamentarians, ministers and civil servants.Apart from ex-President himself, one of Tony's most focused on Mexican followers were Buzan Licensed instructor Obregon Antonio Torres, for many years worked as a senior government official, reporting to the Mayor and Governor of Guanacuato. The Mayor presided over a massive, wide-ranging series of events Buzan Learning, reaching audiences as varied as civil servant, learning professionals, and underprivileged children – the public supports Mind the mapping and Mental Literacy. So focused is he, then he is eligible as a BLi himself – use Mind Maps to plan his campaign for election the Mexican Congress. Mental Literacy Education of the main planks in his program, he won by an unprecedented majority of well over 70% – so became the first BLi to become a congressman.

Tony's ongoing relationship with Mexico is warm and continuous expansion. On his last visit he time spent Sergio García de Alba – the former Minister of Economic Development, and now the brains behind the initiative for renovating the number one private University in Mexico, Tecnologico de Monterrey – helping him to evaluate the benefits of a long-term alliance.

Also on the way, and the first opportunity in the Americas, Tony trained 40 people in Stage One of the new program Buzan Learning Certification, The Mind Map Foundation Course. He also visited the site of the impressive buildings in the Jalpa The home is the Mexican Center for Research and Development of Intellectual Capital, which is bringing together a State Buzan Center. An additional visit back, combined with a reverse itinerary of meetings and workshops are planned for the last two weeks of October 2007, when the new Center was officially opened by Tony.

Chinese inroads

In China, the government-owned Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press FLTRP, is the publisher of seven of Tony's book, with more profit for 2008 and beyond.To back up the initiative Tony regularly speaks, at the invitation of the Chinese government, large audiences with leading business people. He also gives regular lectures In the educational methods and key in learning centers such as Beijing University.

East preferences

In Malaysia, Tony worked close to former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, a renowned 'blue sky thinker', whose vision is to become a leading first world country by applying Mental techniques Literacy as a foundation concept. Another great children Buzan Learning is former Transport Minister and current President of UTAR University, tun Dr Ling, who is heading an initiative to introduce Mind mapping and its application to future business and educational strategies in the country.

Singapore fling

Tony is equally busy in Singapore, where he lead an initiative to Ipan, the branch the Civil Service Ministry staff, to train thousands of senior and middle level civil servant of thought, creativity, communications and a whole range of aids skills learning. Contributed to its success – the city-state and across – is his close relationship with Henry Toi, founder and Managing Director of Buzan Centers Asia – which, under Tony's direction, has in recent years established centers in Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.Tony are also involved conducting an ongoing program, organized jointly with the founder of Buzan Learning Centers Singapore, Dr Tan Chye buck, to help the country teachers to teach and communicate, using Buzan Mind Maps and Learning literary techniques. So far at least 5,000 to 20,000 teachers

the country have attended course, which is always received huge.

School's out …

The pair have also recently started a far-reaching, experimental educational concept, the Power Learning Camp, which arranges for children to go, out of school, the Learning Center. Here they are tutored, by qualified academic of teachers, curriculum subjects like English, Geography, Chemistry and Physics.

The teachers are all qualified to teach the subject, and is furtherqualified by Tony himself and the Centers Buzan, Buzan techniques to utilise everywhere.

For example, the physics teacher who teaches physics with Mind Maps also teaches them how to read faster, how to make records … and how translate the notes essay. This is a major social and educational experience which is proving very popular with teachers, parents and both kids — and the school is currently overflowing.

Back to home territory

Tony is in the UK, the recent years, was involved in a number of large-scale local government education authorities, including a big impact programmerfor Bedfordshire Education Council. In Scotland, he was a valued member of the Masterclass team managed by North and South Lanarkshire Councils' The tapestry Partnership – and has lectured over 5,000 head teachers in the past seven years. As part of this initiative, in May this year he lectured to 200 head of tearchers The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 'Strategies for the 21st Century' – a key element of the two councils' School as a Home for Mind 'approach.
