What are the best way to bring money (NZ $) when traveling in the Philippines?
Okay, I am planning to go to the Philippines next year. But my problem is carrying the money because I'm not sure if something changed in the Philippines form of currency in New Zealand dollars Peso. I have a Westpac Visa Debit Card but not really sure if everything works fine. I dont want to screw it up. Information for the money changers or whatever is appreciated. Or better to bring everything in cold cash. Buying Peso New Zealand and then take it all cash? Any ideas? If everything is in the Philippines EFTPOS, it is a whole lot better for me.Thanks.
Just bring your NZD but it depends on how much? Just keep them in your pocket and supply of pesos in any of the SM Malls. They are everywhere. USD10K is the maximum allowable amount is brought to the Philippines. If you serous / Maestro, you can revoke from ATMs anywhere.
