philippines online radio stations

Why does the Filipino radio (online pero base sa Pinas) stations play American songs & not Filipino ones?
They also speak in English not Filipino, i would just like to hear some good 'ol Pinoy/Pinay songs from the local stars in the Philippines...
But i hear American singers instead! Baket po?
Alot more American songs???
Shoot i didn't know they changed the main language of the Philippines from Filipino to English
DTP25-So that means just drop the main language of the Philippines which is Filipino and just coz English came in the picture and now spoken by everyone that they don't need to speak their native language anymore including in radio/tv/etc...You can always have both, just not too much coz it looks as if your trying to be more American than Filipino...Now where's the common sense in that
As for the commercial radio stations, don't they just play whatever music they think will get them the most listeners and advertising revenues? If more people tune in to and buy products advertised on stations that play OPM or English music performed by Pinoys, I guarantee that more stations would play them.
