Why it too cost me money to renew Philippine Passport?
Got my passport in Washington DC cost me money for Gas, hotels, and such called other expenses. Roughly about $ 400 for everything. Just wondering what so if the new machine readable passport says it is safer, One if it is stolen it is still stolen so what you still need to get before, they say 2 security faster checkout I saw dozens of people still get stopped by security by check only cause filipino citizenship so their you go, 3 the Philippines embassy are thinking hard about the hardworking kababayans working abroad to support their families now have lost time from work and money to go travel all the way to the embassy to renew a passport. Just wanted my fellow Pinoys to comment on what you think and your experience with it? Please want an honest opinion not only hate messeges. Thanks to my fellow countrymen and women
I understand what you are complaining here, but remember that the world is also going under the same thing that went through. My passport was changed just before this article was announced MRP. Thought I have to renew a fresh passport again, but I got the information that I can still I use my passport until the effectiveness date. And my next passport is going to be a similar all over the world. It is safer that way at all the terrorism going around. You must be thankful for that. Complained it was trivial.
