philippines passport renewal

I hope that a Filipino with knowledge / experience-you or someone you know - is applied for a passport renewal in the USA, since June 1, 2008, it is processed, and received the Your new Philippines MRP passports, can tell me the exact # of days from the date you applied to date is to your mailbox. Philippines Consulate and Embassy sites USA state "at least 6 weeks processing time" from the date of receipt. I need to know REAL current processing time depends on after send my passport renewal in September-app to the Embassy in DC (if that matters.) My work, vacation, travel all the plans depending on how long over the 6 weeks it can take. Help very much appreciated.
when they say 6 - looks like this 8. that quite usual. call them and check where it now. You still in-tray of a man!
