I travel to the Philippines, im going through the LA international terminal, Hong Kong airport at cebu.?
Where is the best place to change my money the Philippine peso? What location gives me the best rate of change?
Change some money, like 50 dollars, on your arrival in Cebu's Mactan Int'l Airport. Rates to counter with your right hand side immediately after passing the customs is almost as good as people. People can get a half more than 1 peso per dollar. Check some of the moneychangers country before deciding where you change. DO NOT change the reception desk of your hotel! Then you really get a bad rate. But do not change some of the airport otherwise you can pay a taxi and no money to tip the bellboy to your hotel. Mactan Cebu is a very nice and pleasant airport, by the system. You are good to overfly Manila and the problems of the NAIA.
