Handling Stress in the Philippine Business and Work Environment

Most Filipinos will experience stress on a daily basis as if the head of your own business or an employee. Most do not cope well under pressure, but handling stress is a skill most - Pinoys can obtain more effort.

First realize that one is not perfect, do not expect perfection from others and from yourself. There are times you will fail but instead of loosing sleep over it, learn from it. Become stronger from the experience, allowing the yourself a margin for error but be sure to minimize repeated your mistakes because sometimes it takes failure more than once to learn. Make sure you do not overextend yourself. You are bound to be under more pressure and not lose your perspective. Not every day is full of problems and other days is means another chance, a new challenge and a reason for hope.

Check the paper yourself sometimes. Go to a spa or massage room of relax and reduce stress. Work on getting some relaxation. Even in sports or entertainment, watch movies and go out on dates with your spouse or special person, avoid being workaholic. Do not set unrealistic or unreasonable goals and deadlines. Pushing yourself and others will lead to stress.
