philippines plug adapter
Electrical discrepencies. Please help?

Hi all. I live in the U.S. and I go on vacation in the Philippines. I'm planning on bringing my Nintendo DS with a Gamecube and a PS2. The state uses a standard 120V and the Philippines are using a standard 220V or 240V … But my AC adapter for my DS is stamped 120V/240V this right. Do I have to use a power transformer for my DS? I know I need to use transformer for both the Gamecube and PS2. Should I just play safe and use the transformer instead of, or should I risk it and plug it straight into the wall? The spark was the same both

If it is, 120/240 which means that theres a switch in the adapter Automaticaly change, so no extra things needed. but if you want to be safe and then do what you need to do.
