philippines power converter
Is there a power converter of some type to make a 110 volt gadget useful to 220 volt outlet? (Pls read)?

I'm going the Philippines for a wedding and I'll be bringing some gadgets which uses USA standard 110-120 volts. Over there, they use a standard to 220 volts. Is there a power converter of some kind that I can use to my gadget does not get damaged? (May be, right? Lol) If so, then what is the proper name for it? Thank you guys and gals! Happy Holidays !!!!!!!!!!!!

Travel Power Converter. Check Amazon. I got my at fry's. Many electronic "gadgets" such as cameras, Camcorders and laptops use power supply that can use both The 110 and 220 so all you need is to add a small tip to the AC power plug – power supply will be marked if it can do it. Other electronics (or gadgets that are not marked) need 110, so you have to use the real power converter (and not just the tip). Pay attention to the wattage. High power such as using hair dryers may be too much of a draw for the power converter.
