Where on earth is legistatures w / 75 you pay each month, 22 million jobs run'ng d'r & 150 mil pork?
Legislature people enact laws of the country, period! But in the Philippines where 90% of the population is so difficult, our Legislature has abused their privileges. At first, you think their salary is about 75,000 pesos / month or 1500 U.S. dollar, but still scrutinizing, they 28 million pesos per year to run their duties including travel costs. Another catch is the 150 million "developing countries fund" which is the root cause of corruption. And last, there is unliquidated 'millions' put the President to get a favorable response. The pork barrels amounting to 150 million each, with 220 members the lower house, was a huge, huge amount. Because the rings and money previleges, our ligislatures is surrendered their independence from the executive branch government. No more check and balance. Where on earth seventy see them, join the President's trlip overseas paralyzing the Chamber, at the expense of immediate laws enacted.
I think of all Philippine public officials should jump off the cliff and let the govt start with intelligent and uncorrupted officials. The govt officials are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer citizens. I mean the Senators' children and children in school in either Europe or us. So, where them money? exactly! They just about caring for themselves and their families. They do about caring for the poor, homeless that families living on the edge of the road, or under the bridge. The Govt should do something about, about the economy, and how to end poverty! That the their work, to make the Philippines a better place for all and each of the Filipino people have a better life.
