The Philippines was a Spanish colony, still conserves the Spanish language to the USA colonized you?

Hola! This is not because in the Spanish language we used in training why the Philippines was colonized by America. there are several reasons for colonization as what can they get from the natural resources and most importantly, they wanted to build in the Philippines. Spain as a colonizing country can foreseen as an incompetent country that is why America took. Spanish used by many of the Filipinos in the future will not help many people of Spain and other Spanish speakers country does not excel in some way. I mean they really are not globally competitive manufacturer of Spanish as one of the major languages of the business world. Adios!
