Should I send my boyfriend money to the Philippines?
That was my birthday girlfriend in the Philippines today and as I have just celebrated him a little while and found it around in a week it was his birthday can not send him a birthday present to my time.I thought Now I myself should send him a little money for it but if I were him alll the time.She hope it does not work just finished a nursing course with His family was poor that ask.I why I said I would send him an extra Christmas present for though.She never asked me for money by the way.I am trying to save up to meet her in the van with April.I am from England.
My personal view is you should not. A card for her Another birthday and Christmas card should be enough to show that you care for him. I am a Filipina married to an English (for 7 years now) and from my experience, all the time that my husband and I are writing to each other I do not expect any money from him - a card and a phone call is enough on special occasions and quite understandable due to the distance. Your girlfriends' case he was not asking for money anyway. Just be careful when the money comes to relationships because there are some ladies out there just after money. Philippines as sincere in their relationship will not ask for money from someone they knew as it is not acceptable behavior in our culture.
