Philippines during Typhoon season?
Thanks for answering my 'what to do in the Philippines' questions. I look at stats during wise for the time I am, and I'm going end of September early October. Stats said it was heavy rain and Typhoon. So what do one tourist wise during that time? Almost all we have to stay in Davao and Manila in 3 days. We had many plans to visit catholic cathedrals. Good idea? I read some comments to bring a card instead of cash as well. I originally brought up Hong Kong, they have beat this card for most public things. But in an lot of Venues we went to the local shopping and we are required to cash the 'street'. The only time we used a car bus / train fair and shopping mall. This is the same in the Philippines?
Hi! You really want to have a great time in the Philippines? Better skip October and go during the first part December. can skip all the typhoons and monsoon rains for sure, and you wonder to activate lights at Christmas garnering all the cathedrals and churches in Manila. You can also join the Dawn Mass (Misa del Gallo) with Filipinos and meet new friends there. Manila's best cathedrals all livelier and light until the time Christmas season. Manila Cathedral is by far the best known of all Philippine cathedrals. It is in Intramuros, Manila. You might also want to check out some In Manila's major malls. No, no card like the Philippines. You only pay cash or credit card in the Philippines. Transportation in Manila is fairly constant though notice that Manila's taxis are the cheapest in Asia.
