Gender discrimination esp. w / basketball?
why is that the Philippines basketball men are more powerful than women? Why do not we WPBA similar to the WNBA? I mean even the most co-ed school, they have 2 volleyball team (for men and women) and 1 basketball team (for boys) I mean I do have talent for volleyball and the only sport I can play is basketball. Im currently in high school. I cannot afford to go to exclusive schools a women's basketball team. How am I should be scouted for college ball if they can see me play for my current school? And a sports scholarship my only ticket to college.
Women's pro basketball is not sold so it does not make good business awareness to form a league of woman not make money. That's all this nature, there no discrimination. As for you getting a college scholarship, do not wait for the scouts to notice and recruit mo. Rather than have someone videotape your games and then give copies to the college you want to play for (or post on youtube!) To request can for a test. Good luck!
