Can I get a church or a few private groups to help my husband in a project he was a donation to the Philippines
My wife is a U.S. citizen here in the Philippines and he will make old computers for the poor, only charge what he has invested in units (if not free they can pay). But it was breaking our budget because he almost never collect money owed to them and free parts are hard to find). Many the bright children here who need a computer for school work and introduced the modern world of technology, but the price here for such things are too high and a little money where to buy things. 45% of the population here in the province of cebu is at or below the poverty line. If I help my wife to collect money, or better, old computers and parts, we join their Ranks soon! If you or some agency / private parties that you know will be interested or have a responsible proposal, would be deeply appreciated. We tried the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Catholic ChristianCharities Charities to no avail.
Try to find a LDS that the church is ready to do a donation drive for you. Or if a young man working getting his eagle scout, is a perfect project. My bro-in-law served a mission in Cebu.
