Christmas in the Philippines?

What would Christmas for Filipino's in the Philippines? I mean, what are your traditions and what do you do special that? Christmas is coming soon, I just strange:) Thanks

I am a Filipino-American and was in San Francisco, California last year for during Christmas. How to be Filipino friends but I really cried then! This is my first Christmas away from home. Christmas in the Philippines may not be the best but it is commonly known that different Filipinos around the world as you want to spend their holidays here during that time. Christmas songs are usually heard in Radios as early as September. Department stores begin displaying Christmas decorations and products for sale. The Streets are also well decorated. Each area is have their usual Christmas motiff posted on electric posts! Karachi is well known for selling lanterns. I remember seing them way back when I was a child more than 30 years ago. The Las PiƱas Bamboo organ is so famous tourist bus is seen over the area. Imus, Cavite has a street with various decorations Christmas. It is even known as the "Christmas Capital of the Philippines." Midnight mass start on December 16 and ending in 24th. Christmas season ends on the first Sunday January, usually when the Three Kings are known. Christmas party was held by having family reunions, reunions to Classmates and friends, corporate party! However, a part of it, you really have to spend for gifts especially if you have a large family and many godsons / daughter. Christmas is for children! This is also the time that when people gain weight because the Filipinos really serve good food over time. They also provide food, usually "Sweets" as a gift. Dependent I can spend your Christmas here to see it better!
